Experienced within the regulation of the insurance industry, former Chief Deputy Commissioner, Attorney Rivera-Maldonado worked for the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance of PR "OCI" for over 30 years. Retired from OCI on 2016, Attorney Rivera-Maldonado has a vast government affairs and international insurance relations experience with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners "NAIC" and the Association of Latin American Insurance Supervisors "ASSAL". Attorney Rivera-Maldonado also has a vast experience with insurance licensing and compliance. As part of his career, Attorney Rivera-Maldonado has served as speaker for national and international insurance forums. Attorney Rivera-Maldonado opened his own law office in 2017.
